Fascinator make do & mend man - May 2012

The cake was made by Becky from Making and Baking…… and very nice it was too!!

Our fascinators went down a treat when the lady herself came to town!!

 

Our next meeting will be Tuesday June 12th

This week has been a week of Union Jacks & Jubilee goodies

 

 

I'm already for Make, Do and Mend on Tuesday 1st May…….. my fascinator is complete….

I may be tempeted to add a few flags or a corgi!

It's nearly Jubilee time and the Queen will be visting Exeter on Wednesday 2nd May…..

To honour this we'll be making fascinators!

 

Think red, white & blue….. flags….. corgi's…… buttons….. it's up to you, just let your imagination run wild!!!

 

Please bring:

Alice band…. these can be picked up in cheaply Wilkinsons, Claire's etc

Felt…… opptional if you want to make a base

Ribbon

Buttons

Glue gun (if you have one)

Basic sewing kit

And anything else you can get your hands on!

If you don't want to join in just bring your own project.

Please remember that I no longer reserve places……. if you wish to attend you must book online…. tickets are starting to sell!!!
